What to Expect
Initial Consultation:
During the initial consultation for couple counselling, a dedicated 90-minute session is allocated. This extended timeframe allows couples to engage in comprehensive discussions and assessments aimed at gaining a deeper understanding of their relationship dynamics. Through open dialogue and guided exploration, couples have the opportunity to articulate their concerns, thoughts and feelings freely, identify goals, expectations, and establish a solid foundation for the therapeutic journey ahead.
Additionally, this session enables the therapist to gather essential information, assess the couple's needs, and collaboratively develop a personalised treatment plan tailored to address their specific challenges and aspirations.
Subsequent Sessions:
Individual, couple, and family counseling sessions are typically scheduled for a duration of 50 minutes each. These sessions provide a structured space for clients to explore their thoughts, emotions, and experiences within a supportive, safe, therapeutic environment. Guided by evidence-based practices and therapeutic techniques, clients engage in meaningful discussions, gain insight into their concerns, and work towards achieving their therapeutic goals.
With each session, clients can expect to deepen their understanding of themselves, improve their communication abilities, and cultivate a toolkit of healthier coping strategies and tools. These resources will empower them to face life's hurdles with greater resilience and effectiveness.
In Person Counselling
At In-person counselling sessions, you'll find a warm and inviting space where you can freely express yourself and explore your innermost thoughts and feelings. With a focus on fostering trust and connection, I strive to create an environment where you feel safe to delve into the depths of your emotions and experiences. Through face-to-face interactions, we'll work collaboratively to navigate life's challenges, develop coping strategies, and foster personal growth and healing. Online Counselling
In all online counselling sessions, I bring the same warmth, compassion, and expertise to my virtual interactions as I do in person. Through video conferencing (Zoom), we'll connect from the comfort and convenience of your own space, allowing for flexibility and accessibility in your therapeutic journey. Despite the physical distance, you'll experience a sense of closeness and connection as we navigate through the complexities of your emotions and experiences together.
